Kristine Brorman

Kristine will share the evolution of New Frontiers in Writing, the High Plains Writers’  conference. She will explain why we need a conference, and what we hope to achieve, as well as a sneak peek into speakers, networking opportunities, and new avenues for publishing beyond books.

Kristine Brorman is an award-winning author of romance and romantic thrillers. Her first novel, Eden’s Fall (Oct 2017), co-authored with CC Cedras and contributor SA Young, was the 2018 American Fiction Awards Mystery/Thriller- Romance Winner. The sequel, Winter’s Thaw released in September 2019 was a Finalist in the Best Book Awards – Fiction/Romance category.

Kristine has served on the board of Texas High Plains Writers since 2018. She has presented programs on self-publishing, co-authoring, and critique groups & partners.

She is a self-described “Jack-of-all-trades, Master of none,” with a degree in Agriculture Communications. Although this does not mean she speaks to animals…she does speak to animals. Just ask the dogs, farm cats, occasional skunk, raccoon, deer, snake, or other non-domesticated guests. Kristine and husband Gregg have lived on their family farm in Adrian, Texas, just off Route 66, for over twenty-five years.
