CWIA Critique Groups

We are excited to bring you a free service. You don't need to be a member to join one of our critique groups. The purpose of these critique groups is to offer a number of small groups to help writers in the community fine tune their writing, meet their writing deadlines, and provide support for improving their craft.

If you are interested in joining a critique group, please complete the registration form so we can find the right group for you, add you to our email list, and answer any questions you have.

If you would like to moderate your own group and want to open it up to others in the community, please register using the moderator sign up button on this page.

Please review the CWIA Critique Guidelines, and view the optional Critiquing Helper Form that you can use while you're critiquing. Feel free to submit your questions through our contact form on this website.

Please note, CWIA is helping to coordinate the setup and communication of these groups for our members and non-members to join. Each moderator will run the group using the criteria outlined on this page. CWIA will assist in moderating as necessary, communicate the meeting times and share the critique group vision through our newsletter and on the website. Moderators will submit their information following our newsletter schedule. Communication to group members outside of that timeline will fall on the moderator's purview. The Board of Directors may change this at any time. Updates will be communicated through our newsletter. Please sign up below to be sure you are up to date.
